Nordex Group receives 77 MW order in Romania
The Nordex Group has received an order from the Swedish renewable energy developer and company OX2 for the supply and installation of 11 N175/6.X turbines in Romania. The order for the Urleasca wind farm with a total installed capacity of 77 MW also includes a premium service contract for 35 years.
Parallel to the order, OX2 has sold the 77 MW Urleasca wind farm, which is ready for construction, to the Norwegian renewable energy solutions provider Scatec ASA. OX2 is tasked with overseeing the entire construction phase, which is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026; commissioning is planned for the second half of 2028. The Urleasca wind farm has a long-term Contract for Difference (CfD) with the Romanian state.
The wind farm will be located near the village of Urleasca in the municipality of Bră ila, about 150 kilometers northeast of Bucharest in southeastern Romania.

The Urleasca project further strengthens the Nordex Group’s position in Romania. The company has received orders for more than 500 MW there in recent months.
