BEOS, part of Swiss Life Asset Managers, has acquired a plot of land measuring around 11,549 square metres at Heinrich-Hertz-Straße 17 in Langen (Hesse). After the demolition of the existing building, a multi-use hall with around 7400 square metres of rental space will be built there, which can be flexibly divided into units from around 1500 square metres for storage, production and R&D uses. Completion is scheduled for 2027, and the aim is to achieve DGNB certification in gold.

As part of Swiss Life Asset Managers, BEOS is responsible for the management and strategic development of corporate real estate in Germany. The seller is Optovision Gesellschaft für moderne Brillenglastechnik mbH. JLL acted as advisor to the transaction. The purchase price was not disclosed.
