As part of their successful partnership, Quadoro Investment GmbH and EB – Sustainable Investment Management GmbH (EB-SIM) have acquired the Iserlohn wind farm in North Rhine-Westphalia for the Article 9 fund Quadoro Renewable Energies Europe (QEEE). The seller of the project is ENERTRAG SE, one of the leading developers and operators of renewable energy plants in Europe.
The wind farm comprises two state-of-the-art Vestas V150 turbines with a total capacity of 12 megawatts (MW). Commissioning is scheduled for February 2026. With a projected net annual generation of around 34,800 megawatt hours (MWh), the project makes a significant contribution to climate-friendly energy supply and enables annual savings of around 12,500 tonnes of CO₂.
“With the Iserlohn wind farm, we are strengthening the earnings structure of the QEEE in a targeted manner and ensuring a balanced mix of photovoltaic and wind energy projects in the fund portfolio. In this way, we are creating a solid basis for long-term stability and sustainable success,” explains Michael Denk, Managing Director of Quadoro Investment GmbH.
“The inclusion of a wind farm in the QEEE portfolio is an important step towards further expanding diversification,” adds Bernhard Graeber, Managing Director and Head of Real Asset at the sustainable asset manager EB-SIM.
Tom Lange, Senior Vice President Wind & PV at ENERTRAG, is satisfied with the sale of the project: “With Iserlohn, we have shown that we can develop technically and economically viable projects, implement them in partnership and quickly lead them to commissioning. The sale to Quadoro and EB-SIM underlines the quality of our work, strengthens the regional energy transition and clears the way for the next projects.”
Further projects to expand the fund’s portfolio are already in preparation.
