Quantum Immobilien KVG has acquired a modern new building in the Europaquartier in Bremen for the Habitare III fund. The seller is LEG Niedersachsen GmbH. Completed in 2022, the property with around 140 privately financed apartments and five commercial units is located in Bremen’s Überseestadt near the city centre, where one of Europe’s largest urban development projects is being realised on the former port site.
“We are pleased to expand our residential portfolio with this acquisition to include an attractive property in a waterfront location. At the same time, we continue to be on the lookout for exciting investment opportunities,” says Martin Berghoff, Managing Director of Quantum. “We were particularly impressed by the micro-location in combination with the quality of the building and the lively neighbourhood environment,” adds Bernhard Kutzer, transaction manager at Quantum.
Modern and high-quality living in Bremen’s Überseestadt
The property comprises four building sections that were built on a shared underground car park. The apartment sizes vary between one to four rooms, with the focus on 2- and 3-room apartments. All have real wood parquet flooring, large floor-to-ceiling windows and fully equipped bathrooms with floor-level showers. Digital features are also included, such as digital info screens in the stairwell or keyless door opening via smartphone. Compliance with the Paris Climate Agreement has also been confirmed.
The transaction took place as part of an asset deal. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. Colliers Hamburg mediated for Quantum. The law firm KFR Kirchhoff Franke Riethmüller, BHL Consultants Frankfurt and ES Enviro Sustain Berlin acted as advisors to the buyer.
