Routing Energy GmbH & Co. KG and Vestas are launching a new strategic cooperation in the German onshore wind market. The aim of the cooperation is to jointly implement further wind energy projects in Germany and to offer many “small and medium-sized” operators and project developers reliable and economically attractive framework conditions for the procurement of wind turbines.
Since 2010, Routing Energy has been supporting the preservation of the diversity of stakeholders by bringing together the purchasing interests of many individual project developers and operators. The focus here is on the purchase of wind turbines as a competent partner. As a purchasing group, Routing Energy bundles purchasing volumes and thus enables access to attractive framework agreements with well-known manufacturers. Since 2010, more than 580 wind turbines with an installed capacity of over 2,000 megawatts have already been brokered
The new cooperation with Vestas expands this access and offers medium-sized project developers and regionally rooted operating companies in particular additional implementation opportunities throughout Germany to benefit from a strong manufacturer portfolio and competitive framework conditions.
Working together for more planning security in the wind market

Vestas brings many years of experience from the German wind market to the partnership. The company supplies high-performance wind turbines and manages one of the largest wind fleets in the industry. The collaboration opens up access to the current Vestas turbines for Germany, including the high-performance EnVentus platform. In addition, Routing Energy and Vestas coordinate projects, technical requirements and procurement at an early stage. In this way, both companies create more planning security, accelerate the implementation of projects and ensure their long-term operation.

Regular exchange on the project pipeline as well as close technical coordination create transparency and planning security. Through delivery and service concepts coordinated at an early stage, projects can be implemented more efficiently and commercial processes can be simplified. This gives project developers and operators clarity about technology, schedules and long-term services at an early stage.
