MEAG finances battery-powered regional trains in North Rhine-Westphalia

MEAG has completed the long-term financing of 61 battery-powered regional trains for the Northern Westphalia network. From December 2029, they will replace diesel trains and enable locally emission-free operation. The financing is provided as a fixed-interest senior note.

HanseMerkur Trust AG and Hauck & Aufhäuser Fund Services have jointly launched the HanseMerkur Digital Infrastructure ELTIF, which focuses on investments in data centers. The ELTIF invests in fund strategies of specialised asset managers, with a geographical focus on the US and Europe.

Northern Horizon expands its portfolio of modern care assets in Finland through three forward-funding deals

Northern Horizon is expanding in Finland by acquiring three new care facilities through forward funding deals. The investments amount to around 28 million euros and increase the portfolio of the Aged Care Social Infrastructure Fund to a total of 50 locations.

The energy transition fund KGAL ESPF 6 and PtX Development GmbH have acquired a majority stake in the Lhyfe hydrogen project in Lubmin. This is to create Germany's largest hydrogen project with a production capacity of up to 1,700 megawatts.
