windpunx continues to grow: Since the beginning of the year, the Berlin-based specialist for technical and commercial management has expanded its managed wind energy portfolio by 287 MW. A further 161 MW have already been contractually secured.
With a growing presence in Germany and other European countries, windpunx is now responsible for the technical management of more than 1,200 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 2.85 GW.
Almost 200 customers rely on the company’s technical and commercial management. Some of the contracts run for up to 15 years and underline the trust and importance of long-term reliable operational management over the entire service life of wind turbines.
“At the beginning of the year, we announced that we would consistently align our structures with growth. Today, this growth is becoming tangible – in our portfolio and in new long-term partnerships,” says Heinz-Georg Strickmann, Managing Director of windpunx, solarpunx and Aurevo Energy.
At the same time, windpunx is driving AI-supported operational management and data-based services. Together with innovative start-ups and technology partners, the company develops and tests solutions that create concrete added value for operational management. These include digital applications for reporting, analysis and portfolio management, which allow technical anomalies to be detected earlier, decisions to be made more quickly and optimization potential to be used in a more targeted manner.
The quality management of windpunx is certified according to ISO 9001.
At WindEnergy Hamburg 2026, the Saxovent Renewables Group, together with windpunx, solarpunx, Saxovent Renewables and Aurevo Energy, will be exhibiting in Hall A1 at Stand 430.
The companies are pooling their expertise along the entire value chain: Saxovent Renewables as a full-liner for project development and implementation, Aurevo Energy in portfolio and asset management, windpunx as a commercial, technical and AI-supported operator for wind turbines, and solarpunx with a focus on photovoltaics, O&M as well as commercial and technical operations management. All companies are showing their further developed positioning with their new websites – for a clear presentation of their competencies and services and even better access to their services.
