GARBE Infrastructure strengthens its team with Dr. Tobias Brosze as Senior Advisor
GARBE Infrastructure strengthens its team with Dr. Tobias Brosze as Senior Advisor. The long-standing technical director of Mainzer Stadtwerke AG is now advising the company exclusively on the development of new partnership models at the interface of municipal business and institutional capital.
Dr. Tobias Brosze was Chief Technical Officer and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Mainzer Stadtwerke AG from 2014 to 2024. In this role, he was responsible for the areas of conventional and renewable energy supply, heat supply, grids and digitalisation, among other things. He also chaired the digitization committee at the Association of Municipal Enterprises (VKU).
Thomas Kallenbrunnen, Managing Director of GARBE Infrastructure, says: “2026 is a decisive year for infrastructure in Germany: Large municipalities must submit their heat planning, the special infrastructure fund must be brought to the streets and underground. In addition, the strengthening of the resilience of the infrastructure while at the same time implementing the energy transition in heat and electricity must be financed. Implementation requires partners who understand both sides – both the requirements of municipal companies and the public sector as well as the financial perspective. Tobias Brosze is building exactly this bridge, while GARBE Infrastructure brings the implementation experience and investor contacts for large projects.”
Dr. Tobias Brosze: “I am looking forward to contributing my perspective and my experience from the practice of municipal utilities and municipalities and to jointly developing partnerships that will often be more than just a financial partnership.”
