Two hotel properties at Humboldthain in Berlin newly leased
Aroundtown has completed the long-term lease of two hotels at Humboldthain in Berlin-Mitte to the Odyssey Hotel Group. The properties—AC Hotel Berlin Humboldthain Park (Hochstraße 3, 13357) and Moxy Berlin Humboldthain Park (Hochstraße 2, 13357)—comprise a total of 233 rooms. These are the first hotels Aroundtown has leased to the Odyssey Hotel Group and mark Odyssey’s debut in the Berlin market. With this transaction, Odyssey, which already operates 14 hotels across Germany, continues to expand its presence in major German cities.
The two hotels are located in close proximity to Volkspark Humboldthain as well as other inner-city green spaces, combining a tranquil setting with a highly urban location. Gesundbrunnen station is within walking distance, providing excellent connectivity to S-Bahn and U-Bahn services, long-distance rail as well as key Berlin hubs such as Messe Berlin, BER Airport and major tourist attractions.
Both properties are BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) certified – one of the world’s leading systems for assessing the environmental and social sustainability of buildings. As such, the assets meet high standards in terms of energy efficiency and user quality, reflecting the growing importance of sustainable real estate in the hotel and property market. Aroundtown is committed to a consistently energy-efficient portfolio and has already certified more than 65% of its hotel portfolio accordingly.
