Cureus has announced the sale of compassio Seniorenresidenz Barkhausen to an investment company of Swiss Life Asset Managers. The deal was recently completed by a notary, and the transfer of ownership is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.
Cureus GmbH has completed the Merseburg retirement home with 137 care places. The facility is operated by compassio and offers modern care at a sustainable standard. Around 100 new jobs were created.
Cureus has completed the compassio retirement home in Osterholz-Scharmbeck and handed it over to the operator compassio. The residence offers modern care and support facilities as well as numerous new workplaces.
Cureus and Amando have laid the foundation stone for the Sterkrade retirement home in Oberhausen. The residence will offer 86 care places and is scheduled to open in spring 2027.
Cureus has handed over the Marien Residenz in Minden to emida Marien Residenz GmbH. The residence offers 93 nursing places, 19 serviced apartments and employs around 90 new employees. The official opening is scheduled for March 6, 2026.
Cureus and Amando have laid the foundation stone for a retirement home in Gladbeck-Brauck that will offer 118 care places. The residence is scheduled for completion by winter 2026/2027 and will have numerous facilities such as a restaurant, hairdresser and wellness & care bathroom.
Cureus has announced the completion of an extension of the DOREA family Aschendorf in Papenburg. The extension adds 48 new care places and was built according to modern standards to improve the care infrastructure.
Following the sale of two care locations announced in May 2025, Cureus sold a third property from its own portfolio to a PATRIZIA fund company at the end of 2025.
The basic certification is a process lasting several months that was completed together with experienced specialist planners from the Cureus and DGNB partner network. Cureus worked together with iproplan® Planungsgesellschaft mbH from Chemnitz for this purpose.
