CBRE Investment Management (“CBRE IM”) has signed a long-term lease agreement with the Geis Group for around 10,000 square metres of additional logistics space in the “An der Gehespitz” property in Neu-Isenburg. This means that Geis will use a total of around 36,500 square meters in the property in the future. The term of the new contract is around ten years.
“Geis’ decision to significantly expand the space – already the second expansion of an existing tenant within a short period of time – confirms us in our work. Such long-term decisions are made where real estate and user requirements are a good match,” says Annabelle Dierks, Head of Asset Management Logistics Germany at CBRE Investment Management.
The logistics property, managed by CBRE Investment Management for institutional investors, comprises around 80,500 square metres of rental space spread over three buildings. The property is fully let. The main tenants include the Geis Group, Dachser and DSV. The immediate proximity to Frankfurt Airport and the direct connection to the A3 and A5 motorways make the location an established logistics address in the Rhine-Main region.
