CYCAP, ein auf Erneuerbare Energien spezialisierter Asset Manager, stellt im Zuge seines Wachstumskurses die Führungsstruktur im Bereich Asset Development neu auf: Dr. Ole Jürgens übernimmt ab sofort die Position des Chief Development Officer (CDO) und damit die Gesamtverantwortung für Asset Development, Technical Asset Management, EPC-M und HSSE. Frank Grafe fokussiert sich künftig auf die komplexe Arbeit vor Ort – mit dem Netzwerk, das über Jahrzehnte zu Kommunen, Lokalpolitik und Grundstückseigentümern aufgebaut wurde – und bleibt Geschäftsführer der projektbezogenen Gesellschaften und weiterer CYCAP-Gesellschaften.
Asset development – an important value driver of CYCAP investment funds
As the operator of Germany’s largest repowering fund, CYCAP is currently repowering at least 29 existing plants – financed by a unique banking club financing of EUR 1.6 billion, which received several awards in 2026. CYCAP also offers a Core Plus strategy that can generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for investors through hybridization and expansion of its own grid connection points. The further development of the repowering and hybridization business and the associated investment funds are at the center of this listing. “We have two core competencies, both of which must be managed at the highest level. This is the consequence of our growth and the right basis for what we are planning with our repowering and hybridization funds,” says Detlef Schreiber, CEO of CYCAP.
About Dr. Ole Jürgens
Dr. Ole Jürgens has been with CYCAP since 2019 – as Senior Investment Manager, Head of Project Development and most recently Head of Technical Management. He has built up the Asset Development division together with Frank Grafe since 2023 and brings with him the process and structuring expertise that a growing portfolio of this complexity requires today. Previously, he was Managing Director and Authorized Signatory at a renewable energy project developer as well as a research assistant at the University of Heidelberg, where he received his doctorate in economics. He holds degrees in business administration and economics from Kiel University.
