PROXITY has appointed George Fraser-Harding as Head of Transactions. He will assume his role in November 2026 and will be reporting directly to Guido Piñol, Chief Executive Officer.
Fraser-Harding will lead PROXITY’s transaction activities across Europe, working closely with Blackstone and PROXITY’s local and functional teams on acquisitions, disposals and other strategic investment opportunities.
Transactions are a core component of PROXITY’s integrated operating model. Following the successful onboarding of approximately 300 logistics assets comprising approximately six million square metres across Europe, the company is actively evaluating new investment opportunities while selectively selling assets where value has been realised.
Fraser-Harding joins PROXITY from Aviva Investors, where he served as Head of European Real Estate Equity, overseeing the European investment management function, fund management of several funds and serving as a member of the Real Estate senior leadership team. His 15-year career includes the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain and Ireland and spans acquisitions, disposals, forward transactions, joint ventures and platform investments across a range of investment strategies.
Guido Piñol, Chief Executive Officer of PROXITY, commented: “Building a strong transactions capability is central to PROXITY’s value creation strategy and will play an important role in shaping the future of our platform. George brings deep European investment experience and a strong track record across transactions and portfolio management, making him ideally placed to lead this function as we continue to grow and actively manage our portfolio.”
George Fraser-Harding commented: “PROXITY has built a remarkable pan-European operating platform in a very short period of time. The combination of significant scale and strong local teams creates an exciting opportunity to build a best-in-class transactions function across Europe. I am very much looking forward to joining the team.”
