HIH Invest achieves full occupancy in the Hanse-Forum at Axel Springer-Platz in Hamburg
HIH Invest has reached full occupancy for the Hanse-Forum office building on Axel-Springer-Platz in Hamburg. With the signing of the contract by the new tenant Hurtigruten, the last available office space in the building has been allocated. The shipping company will move into around 600 square meters on the second floor. The lease was accompanied by the brokerage house NEWMARK.
The Hanse-Forum has a total lettable area of around 15,000 square metres and is mainly used as office property. In addition, there are retail and fitness uses on the ground floor. A central architectural element of the building is a spacious atrium that connects the various areas.
“With the lease to Hurtigruten, we have successfully placed the last available space in the Hanse-Forum and have now fully let the property. The central location in Hamburg’s city centre and the flexible, efficiently usable space structure make it possible to optimally reflect different user requirements,” says Julian Laghai, Head of Letting Management Hamburg at HIH Real Estate. “The lease underlines that high-quality and modernly equipped office space in well-connected
inner-city locations continues to meet with high demand.”
The Hanse-Forum was built in 2002 and is one of the most striking office buildings in Hamburg’s city centre. The tenants include companies from various industries, with the main tenant being the co-working provider WeWork.
