The independent partner for the management of real estate investments IMAXXAM is taking over the office building “The BRIX” in the densely populated Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region in Essen as part of a club deal. The barrier-free property in Kruppstraße consists of 5 building sections and comprises around 20,600 square metres of rental space and 89 car parking spaces. The building complex, which was built in 1948, was modernised in 2017 and 2022 and extensively expanded in 2025 for the state-owned anchor tenant and is fully leased on a long-term basis. The property in the southern district not far from the main train station is excellently connected to local and regional public transport as well as to the supra-regional motorways of the Ruhr area.
