The family-run project developer Karl Ludwig Projektentwicklungsgesellschaft has purchased a package of two existing properties with development potential in the Hamburg districts of Winterhude and Uhlenhorst for its own cover pool. The properties are fully let and have commercial and building law potential, which is to be raised, further developed and subsequently realised in the coming years. After completion, the company plans to keep the properties in its own portfolio in the long term.
“As a family-owned company, we have investment horizons of more than a hundred years. We attach great importance to carefully and prudently developing locations and our properties and, if possible, creating more living space in the portfolio,” explains Jan Philip Unger, Managing Director of Karl Ludwig Projektentwicklungsgesellschaft. “We want to continue to grow in Hamburg and are looking for land and real estate with development potential in very good inner-city locations. We believe that by adding storeys and densification, considerable living space reserves can be leveraged in the portfolio.”
Karl Ludwig Projektentwicklungsgesellschaft is still looking for building plots with a lettable area of 1,000 square metres or more and a volume of 2 million euros or more, on which rental apartments and adjacent forms of housing can be built. In addition, we are looking for existing properties with a lettable area of 500 square metres or more, at least 10 residential units and a volume of 1 million euros or more in good inner-city locations in Hamburg.
