ML Real AG, an investment and asset management company based in Berlin, has carried out a further capital increase from EUR 42.0 million to EUR 50.0 million. The private shareholders of ML Real AG are thus strengthening the company’s own funds.
ML Real AG has already used the funds injected to purchase another property: It is the new owner of the office building Heinrich-von-Stephan-Straße 2/Paul-Feldner-Straße 5/Gartenstraße 5 in Frankfurt (Oder). The seller is a fund of the Liechtensteinische Landesbank. The transaction was brokered by Aengevelt Immobilien and Colliers in a co-mandate. The purchase price is in the double-digit million euro range. The property, built in 2014 with 8,251 square metres of rental space on a 4,387 square metre plot, is fully let to the Federal Employment Agency, the Frankfurt (Oder) Job Centre and the City of Frankfurt (Oder). The main train station, the university and several green spaces are within walking distance.
“This modern property is a very good addition to our historic residential portfolio in Frankfurt (Oder), which is only a few minutes away. With this acquisition, our commitment in Frankfurt (Oder) increases to approx. 11,000 square metres of rental space,” says Babett Höntsch, Member of the Management Board of ML Real AG.

“The modern property is located in the government cluster and thus in a top location in Frankfurt (Oder). At the same time, it is fully let to the public sector. All in all, this makes it an ideal investment for security-oriented investors. This, together with the attractive yield, convinced the buyers,” says André Bühlig, member of the Aengevelt management board and deputy branch manager for Magdeburg, describing the qualities of the property.
