In the northeast of Augsburg, Panattoni has completed the Panattoni Campus Augsburg, a business location for logistics, production and commerce with a total lettable area of 29,000 m². With the The combination of Panattoni Park and City Dock® has created a flexible space for a diverse mix of users that reflects the needs of the region.
Germany’s largest developer of logistics, industrial and commercial real estate combines two different types of real estate on one site with its campus concept. Panattoni Park Augsburg offers larger logistics, industrial and production companies large-format space on 17,400 m². In addition, it comprises 970 m² of office space, 1,670 m² of warehouse mezzanine and has a clear height of 10 metres. The City Dock® Augsburg, which consists of two buildings with a total of 7 units and a total lettable area of 8,960 m², is primarily aimed at SMEs, businesses and start-ups. It offers small-format, flexibly expandable rental units from 1,130 m², each of which includes a combination of hall, flex and office space.
The site previously housed a high-bay warehouse of a lighting manufacturer and production facilities of a railway sleeper factory for the production of concrete sleepers. Within a year, the existing industrial buildings were demolished and the Panattoni Campus Augsburg was completed.

The Panattoni Campus Augsburg is part of the Augsburg economic area, which is one of the most dynamic locations in southern Germany. Located in the northeast of Augsburg, it offers companies an innovative environment with excellent infrastructure. It enables fast routes to the city, to Augsburg Airport, as well as an uncomplicated connection to the A8 motorway to Munich and towards Stuttgart as well as to the B2 federal highway to Nuremberg. This makes it an attractive alternative for companies that cannot find suitable development sites in the greater Munich area.
Focus on sustainability, recyclability and biodiversity
The Panattoni Campus Augsburg was developed according to comprehensive sustainability standards. In addition to the use of rainwater to irrigate the outdoor facilities, a photovoltaic system contributes to a resource-saving building design. Heat is supplied by district heating. To promote biodiversity, parts of the roof surfaces and facades are greened and the outdoor facilities are designed to be close to nature. Electric charging stations for cars and bicycles complete the offer. In addition, a building resource passport was created for the project according to the Madaster standard in order to transparently document the recyclability of the materials used. The project has been awarded the brownfield certificate of the German Brownfield Association (DEBV) and is striving for DGNB platinum certification.
