Successful change of operator at established location / Hotel opening on 03 June 2026
Real I.S. has signed a long-term lease agreement with Premier Inn for its centrally located hotel property at Carl-Zeiss-Straße 1 in Göttingen. The handover to the new operator took place on May 1, 2026, and the official opening of the hotel with 144 rooms will take place on June 3, 2026. The lease was concluded for a period of 25 years.
With the successful re-letting, Real I.S. is completing an almost seamless change of operator just five months after the insolvency filing of the previous operator Revo Hospitality Group in January 2026, and is securing a long-term usage perspective of the attractive location through its early action.

The property was completed in 2020 and has around 5,000 square metres of rental space on five floors. The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of Göttingen Central Station. The historic old town, the university and numerous scientific institutions are within walking distance within a few minutes.
With the successful follow-up lease, Real I.S. strengthens the long-term stability of the asset and underlines the attractiveness of established German university and science locations for hotel investments. Real I.S. has a long-standing track record and has been active in the management of hotel properties for more than a decade.
