Alterric is setting the course for the next phase of its corporate development and is filling the position of Commercial Director (CFO). On July 1, 2026, Ingmar Schmitt will take over the finance department of the leading energy park operator. The proven financial expert brings almost 30 years of experience in strategic transformation and the financing of fast-growing companies. Ingmar Schmitt thus completes Alterric’s management team with Dr. Frank May as CEO and Christian Karst as COO.
In his career to date, Ingmar Schmitt has worked in auditing, management consulting and in leading positions at listed companies. Among other things, as CFO of an SDAX-listed real estate group with a real estate value of EUR 3.4 billion, he was responsible for financing, commercial management of the portfolio and new strategic business models in the field of solar energy. Most recently, as interim CFO of the Tank & Rast Group, he secured the financing structure in close dialogue with international investors and rating agencies and was also responsible for ESG and infrastructure projects.
