JA Solar Rebrands as JA to Accelerate Global Low-Carbon Transition Through Integrated Green Energy Ecosystem

JA Solar has announced a global rebrand to JA, marking the company’s evolution from a leading solar module manufacturer into a fully integrated green energy ecosystem partner dedicated to empowering industries worldwide through reliable, sustainable clean energy solutions.

The new corporate identity was unveiled at the JAx2026 Brand Renewal Launch & Eco-Partner Conference in Shanghai on 2 June, where the company outlined its long-term vision to support global industrial transformation and decarbonisation.

Under the new JA Masterbrand, the company is structured around four key business groups: JA SOLAR (photovoltaics), JA ESS (energy storage solutions), JA GREEN (smart energy) and JA CAPITAL (financing). Together, these groups create an integrated ecosystem that provides customers with end-to-end solutions covering power generation, energy storage and optimisation.

The rebrand reflects JA’s new positioning as a "Reliable Global Green Energy Partner", underpinned by its brand promise, "Reliable Power for the Journey Ahead".

Liu Shuo, President of JA’s Brand and Marketing Center, said: “The global energy transition is shifting from electricity price competition to a value-driven phase deeply integrated into specific scenarios. Drawing on 21 years of solar expertise and our mission to ‘develop solar power to benefit the planet’, JA will deepen the green energy ecosystem to make green energy stable, accessible and affordable for every industry, advancing the transition together with global partners.”

During the JAx2026 conference, JA showcased innovations spanning solar, energy storage and smart energy, while also presenting its strategic roadmap for the AI Data Centre (AIDC) sector.

From "exporting products" to "building global capabilities" and from "a Chinese brand going global" to "a truly global brand", JA will leverage the synergies of its ecosystem to deliver integrated green energy solutions, collaborating with partners across the industry to co-develop technologies and expand markets, said Liu Shuo. “Through reliable products, tailored system solutions, global professional services and consistent long-term value, JA will empower industries worldwide to build a more stable, greener and sustainable energy future,” he added.
