De Gaulle Fleurance advises Logivolt on a 300-million-euro green loan intended to accelerate the deployment of electric vehicle charging stations in multi-unit residential buildings
De Gaulle Fleurance advised Logivolt, a wholly owned subsidiary of Banque des Territoires (Caisse des Dépôts group), in connection with the arrangement of a 300 million euro green loan granted by a banking consortium comprising Banque Populaire Rives de Paris, Banque Populaire Val de France, Banque Populaire Grand Ouest, and Caisse d’Épargne Île-de-France. This transaction brings Logivolt’s investment capacity to nearly 500 million euros since its creation in 2021.
The €300 million green loan, structured as debt, was secured from a banking consortium comprising Banque Populaire Rives de Paris, Banque Populaire Val de France, Banque Populaire Grand Ouest, and Caisse d’Épargne Île-de-France, which is also coordinating this transaction. It complements the 190 million euros already committed by Banque des Territoires in 2021 and 2024.
This initiative will enable Logivolt to help equip approximately 26,000 residential buildings and 1.7 million parking spaces by 2030 by financing shared charging infrastructure, at no direct cost to homeowners’ associations or public housing agencies.
Against a backdrop of rapid growth in the electric vehicle market, increased public support, and rising demand from homeowners’ associations and social housing organizations, this initiative underscores the key role of financing in the deployment of accessible home charging solutions.
