An industry platform that is bringing serviced apartments onto global corporate booking systems
TrustedStays, a leading corporate industry platform and part of UnderTheDoormat Group, is expanding into France. The move ensures professionally managed short-term rentals and serviced apartments are available through the Global Distribution System (GDS) so corporate travellers can book them through the same channels they already use for hotels.
Through TrustedStays‘ exclusive GDS partnership with Amadeus, supply partners including Veeve and Quartier Libre are now accessible for corporate travellers across France, making high-quality professionally managed accommodation easier to discover and book.
The launch comes as global business travel spending is forecast to reach an all-time high of $1.71 trillion in 2026, according to the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA). France represents one of Europe’s largest business travel markets, making it a natural next step in TrustedStays‘ international expansion.
French business travel spending reached a record €30.9 billion in 2025, ahead of the previous 2019 peak of €29.9 billion, and is projected to grow a further 2.2% in 2026 to around €31.6 billion, according to the annual business travel barometer from EPSA, a French business travel consultancy.
The opportunity is also being fuelled by changing traveller preferences, with businesses and travellers increasingly seeking alternatives to traditional hotels that offer greater flexibility, better privacy, more space and a more residential experience. Savills‘ European Serviced Apartment Report found the sector has grown at a compound annual rate of 5.9% since 2019, compared with 1.1% across hotels.
Despite this momentum, the market still has significant room to grow; serviced apartments account for just 8% of accommodation supply across major European cities. However, professionally managed stays have traditionally been difficult to access through corporate travel programmes, as many properties have not been available through the booking systems businesses rely on for policy compliance, reporting and traveller visibility.
By integrating professionally managed accommodation into the booking infrastructure used by businesses and travel management companies, TrustedStays is making these stays easier to access while giving corporate travel programmes the oversight and consistency they need. As well as having the technical infrastructure, TrustedStays provides support to suppliers throughout the process, managing the GDS relationship on their behalf, so property owners and operators can focus on their guests.
