Nordex Group to build 20 MW wind farm for Continental’s tire plant in Korbach

Nordex is installing three N175/6.X turbines with a capacity of 20 MW for Continental at the Twistenberg wind farm (northern Hesse). The electricity will directly supply the tire plant in Korbach and supply around 55 GWh annually – about two-thirds of the demand. Construction will start in 2026, commissioning around 1.5 years later.

Nordex Group receives new orders for more than 197 MW from ENOVA and BMR

At the end of June, the Nordex Group received orders from ENOVA and BMR for more than 197 MW in Germany. A total of 30 turbines will be installed in Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and North Rhine-Westphalia, some of them as repowering. Higashi Izu Furusato wind power plant starts commercial operation

wpd commissioned its first Japanese onshore wind project, the Higashi Izu Furusato wind farm (Shizuoka Prefecture), on 1 June 2026 on schedule. The 7.48 MW park with three Enercon turbines supplies green electricity to Nomura Real Estate for the new Tokyo headquarters via CPPA via NFPS.
